Family Background


My name is Julie. There are four members in my family. My father is a clerk of Chunghwa Telecom, and he works hard to support our family. My mother is a housewife, and my older brother is a junior at a college. My parents always teach me to be optimistic. For that reason, I always look on the bright side when I meet obstacles. And they also ask me to make good use of my time. Though my family may not be perfect, but it is still wonderful for me.


School Life

I am studied at Department of Applied Foreign Language in National Tainan CommercialVocational Senior High School. I am lucky to study with my chipper classmates, and experience many impressive activities with them. They also helped me a lot on learning English. Whenever I have a question, they would never give up teaching me until I understand.

I was elected as Discipline Section Chief at the first semester. That wasn’t an easy position, I had to control my classmates when the class was start, and I also had to check if anyone was not in the classroom when it’s time to take a noon break. But I learned a lot from it. This position taught me how to manage my classmates without making some misunderstanding. Then I was elected to be Library Monitor during the second and fifth semester. I learned lots of knowledge about the library. And I was elected to be Assistant Cleaning Crew Leader at the forth semester. By this position, I knew more ways to ask my classmates do their jobs. I had learned a lot from those positions, and know more about how to be a responsible person.

I will choose Chinese as my major in college, for I am interest in learning more Chinese ancient literature. After graduating from college, I want to work as an editor, and this position requires professional training, knowing lots of Chinese ancient literature. I can make it by entering department of Applied of Chinese in National Taichung Institute of Technology. I hope I can be admitted to the school so that I will be able to realize my dream.

My name is Fang. I am now 17 years old. I have an English name called Matthew. I am studying in a private high school. There are five people in my family. My father is a military officer and my mother is a housewife. Both of my younger brother and sister are studying in junior high school. Although using computer and playing baseball take up most of my leisure time, I manage to spare some spare time to play the electronic guitar in a band. I use computer to make many of our songs into MIDI files and forward to many of my friends. My friends love them and think they are awesome. Being able to combine my knowledge of computer and music is my proudest thing. Don't get me wrong. I didn't neglect my study. Unless my grades in school are OK, my parents will not let me go for all these.

I have been interested in computer since I was in the fifth grade. That was the time when father had his big computer on his desk. Every time I saw father's face with great concentration while using computer, I developed my admiration to it. I said to myself, “I want to be like him one day.”

I liked to play around with my father's computer. One day I accidentally deleted one of my father's important files. I was so scared that my father would be furious with me. However, it was not the case. My father gave me a gift instead of punishment. I was so surprised. Guess what? Yes, I got a new computer. Ever since then, I have been addicted to computers, especially after the emerging of the Internet. Surfing the net has been one of my greatest hobbies.

The e-commerce has changed our traditional lifestyle. Take myself as an example, I keep in touch with my friends through e-mail messages, I send my greetings through e-cards, I buy books from e-bookstores, I shop from many websites and I search information from the searching engine.

Beyond doubt, the importance of the e-era has brought most powerful revolution to the business world. Banks and stock market transaction through the net, business to business direct transaction through the net and the space and time limitation no longer exist. I am fascinated with the new change and eager to take part in it. So I have decided to study in Computer and Information Science. I want to be a professional computer programmer who creates and designs the software to meet the needs of people in e-era.

Every time when I have chance, I would go to the music theater to listen to symphony and orchestra performances. There is not once I would not be moved by the music. I really admire those musicians' talent, passion and dedication to music. I wish one day I would be able to become one of them, performing on the stage and touring around the world. Drinking a moderate amount of caffeinated beverages may not do harm to your body. But if you drink too much caffeined beverages, you might have some negative effects on your health. First, you might suffer from insomnia that makes you away from a high-quality sleeping. Second, you might feel nervous or anxious when you haven’t drunk caffeined beverages. That shows you are addicted to it. Third, you might suffer from nausea or have other gastrointestinal problems. It’s surely bad for your health. Last, you would have a headache with too much caffeine. For the reasons above, you shouldn’t have too much caffeine per day.

Moreover, using nuclear power may cause serious ecological catastrophe for its leakage of radiation. I think develop natural energy resource will become the most important things in future. Because oil might become less and less, and others resources will do so. And natural energy resources will nerve run out or waste money. Take Germany for instance, they had already set many wind turbines in their farm, and a report point out that wind turbines had produced more than fifty percent of energy in it. It is for all the above-mentioned reasons that I believe it will be better to use natural energy resources than nuclear power.

And the main characters' personallity of those two series were different from each other. Also, there were four books in Watch series, whereas Millennium Trilogy series had three. Though the two series were quite different, their stories were still very exciting and interesting.

It will be more easily for me to decorate the room and place furniture where I want to put. Third, Fairfax Apartment didn’t allow pets whereas CAMPUS APTS allow pets. Having a pet dog or cat will make my life happier. Last but not the least, the rent of CMPUS APTS is different from Fairfax Apartment, which is more affordable.

I went aboard with my family. However, on our journey, my brother got lost. Since we wanted to find him back, we went everywhere we had been to. But we couldn't find him anywhere. So we went to the police station for help. And the police asked us to discribe what he looked like. We told the police that he was teenaged, about eighteen years old. In addition, he was very thin and only weighted fifty kilograms. Also, he was medium height, about 172 centimeters tall. His hair was black and straight. After these discriptions, the police promised that they would try to find him as soon as possible.

Describing a Process-(4) How to Plan a Party-revised

It is very easy to plan a party by following these tips. First, you have to choose a subject for your party. And you will realize what you should prepare for the party. Second, make a list to check whom you will like to invite. Then you don't have to be worried about if the person is suitable for this party or not. Third, make sure what those guests you invite would like to eat or drink, or they will not satisfied with food and drink you perpare. Last, decorate the place where you will hold your party and make sure it will correspond with your subject. By following those steps, you can plan a party easily.

My favorite holiday is Christmas. First reason is because Christmas makes me feel comfortable ane warm. Family and friends get together to celebrate this holiday. The second reason is that people would change presents to express their love or something others. And changing present is very exciting, because you would never know what you would get. The third reason is that family members would prepare so many delicious food which is not ordinary.  With those reasons upon, Christmas is my favorite holiday.

So we went to police station for help. And the police asked us to discribe what he looked like. We told the police that he was teenaged, about eighteen years old. And he was very thin, he was weight only fifty kilograms. Also, he was medium height, about 172 centimeters tall. His hair was black and straight. After these discriptions, the police promised that they would try to find him as soon as possible.

It is very easy to plan a party by following those steps. First, you have to chose the object for your party. And you would realize what you should prepare for the party. Second, make a list to check who you would like to invite. Then you don't have to worried about if the person is not suitable for this party. Third, make sure what those guests you invite would like to eat or drink. Or those who you invite would not satisfied with food and drink you perpare. Last, decorate the place you would hold your party and make sure it would correspond with your object. By following those steps, you can plan a party easily.

It is easy to pot a plant if you follow the right procedure. First, cover bottom of pot with small stones. Next, put two inches of soil on top of rocks. Then, make a hole in centerof soil. After that, drop plant into soil. When the plant drop into soil, add soil until it almost reaches top of pot. And press the soil down with thumbs. At last, water plant. After these right procedure, you can put your pot at wherever you like.

It was on the winter vacation that I went to Taipei. I woke up at 6 a.m. for I was very excited. This was my first time to have a trip but go without my family. When I got to the passenger transport, my friends had already been there and waited for me. On the way to Taipei, I was miserably got carsick because I ate some cookies. After we arrived in Taipei, we went to a display. The display exhibit not only  paintings but also other artistic productions. Until evening, the night market must be one of the most important activities. Just like other passengers, we went to Shihlin night market, and ate many kinds of food. The next day, we went to the book exhibition. There were a lot of books, and merchandise of novels and I bought lots of them. At 4:00 p.m. we got on a bus whick return to Tainan. We were all tired when we got back, but it was still an exciting trip.

The story I had read in my childhood-revised

  The story I had read in my childhood is Prey. The story was began in a office of a group of scientists. They had created some objects which were formed by billions of 奈米塵埃. After a long time doing experiment, they found that the objects began to have its own consciousness. As time passed by, those 奈米塵埃had grown more intelligent and cunning. But those objects needed to resupply some energy. As the result, those objects started to attack human beings and ate them. So the scientists had not only to escape from the objects but also eliminate them. At the end, some of the scientists survived, but most of them died in those objects' attack. This story was so interesting that had impressed me a lot.
